The Team

the Who, Why and What of PPP

All our team have external and in house training to a high standard (all above the basic First Aid qualifications often used by event companies). All hold Enhanced DBS/CRB and have Safeguarding of Adults and Children Qualifications. All the Team have a background within the Ambulance Service from Paramedics to Volunteers, we also have one guilty secret we tend to keep to ourselves…. we all enjoy what we do

Darren, Owner and the sort of boss…

Darren, the owner and a Community First Responder with the East of England Ambulance Service resulting in extensive qualifications and experience. Darren holds qualifications in Risk Management and Event Planning. Darren has a background within Military Nursing, he is a Trainer in his other job, Training Nurses, Ambulance Staff, and people within Health and Social Care. In his spare time he is a bit of a artist and photographer, don’t ask about it or you will be stuck for hours….

Austen, founding member with Darren…

Austen, also a CFR and started the ball rolling with PPP, a wealth of experience of First Aid in various settings. Austen also has Risk Management experience. Austen has worked (many years ago, really long time ago), in an emergency department in the original Huntingdon Hospital. In his spare time Austen potters about doing ‘stuff’ and enjoys waffling…..

Dennis

Dennis, with his Military background and also being a CFR a great back bone to the team at events, seen here in a frock to help raise money at Somersham Carnival. We don’t talk about what he does in his spare time…. EVER!

Frances

Frances, a member of the front line team at East of England Ambulance, Cub Leader and a CFR, she brings some advanced skills to the team. Frances has many charity and community based activities, we often have to nail her to the spot…

Josie

Josie, the young ‘pup’ of the team, Josie has been a long member of a well know First Aid charity, (we don’t we mention their name about these parts) gaining lots of experience, she is a CFR for the East of England Ambulance service, and specialises in the care of high dependency children. In her spare time Josie is often out fondling ‘grommet’ her horse…
